Fort Campbell, KY (February 23, 2022) – Last week, on Thursday, February 17, Digital Works, Government Solutions and Services (GS2), and CareerStep hosted a webinar to discuss their partnership and corresponding programs.
During the event, leaders from each organization explained how their programs offer digital job training/placement and remote work opportunities for military spouses, veterans, and active/transitioning soldiers.
Along with information on what each program entails, they went over funding opportunities, qualifications to apply, how to get started in each program, and much more. Everyone who attended got to take part in a fun, interactive game, as well as a fireside chat to resolve any unanswered questions.
Guest speakers included: CEO of GS2, Col M. Blaine Hedges; Chairman and CEO of Connected Nation, Tom Ferree; and General Manager and Vice President of CareerStep, Derris Moore.
