Fort Campbell, Kentucky (April 29, 2022) – There’s a lot to be said for someone who seeks to better his future by taking a chance and learning new things. Digital Works’ graduates often join the program to gain the necessary training to work in remote positions and for the added benefit of job placement assistance. The term for someone who has graduated from class and accepted an offer of employment is a program graduate. This month, we celebrate our 100th program graduate, Colby!
Colby
Colby is an Army veteran and loving family man. After serving his country and being home to care for his son, he was ready for another steady profession. “After applying to dozens of positions on my own I decided I needed help and came to Digital Works. Working from home was my best bet at providing for my family due to extenuating circumstances and economic reasons.”, explained Colby. When asked what he hoped to get out of the program, he said, “Procuring meaningful and lasting employment and becoming certified in the Customer Service field is also a neat bonus”!
Just weeks after graduating from the program and with the help of his facilitator, he was able to secure that meaningful work-from-home position. Colby just started his new career by earning an income for his family while being home to contribute to his son’s homeschooling schedule and family appointments.
