CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – In this time when many people are working from home, there is a local organization, Digital Works Fort Campbell, that provides veterans, veteran’s spouses and military spouses the training and tools they need to work from home.

Chantel Cooke with Digital Works Fort Campbell said their services are offered through a grant so there is no cost to participants.

“We train them with the skills they need to work from home,” Cooke said. ” We work with them to create resumes, cover letters, we also help them apply for jobs, and we mentor them throughout that entire process.”

A lot of times military spouses are on the move and for them to be able to take a job with them wherever they go can help them provide for their families.

The classes have usually required individuals to complete a four-week course in their facility, but because of COVID-19, Digital Works Fort Campbell is now offering the same course in a condensed two-week virtual class.
