Bowling Green, KY (February 16, 2021) – Connected Nation and Digital Works are thrilled to present “Embracing a Post-COVID Workplace” at the Sixth Annual Kentucky Workforce Summit.
Starting at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, Connected Nation staff members Tammy Spring, Operations Manager, Digital Works; Heather Gate, VP Digital Inclusion, Connected Nation; and Jessica Golson, Facilitator, Digital Works will speak on how the Digital Works program has helped many people find and secure remote jobs during the pandemic, and what the program provides for both participants and employers.
“The pandemic forced the majority of businesses to change the way they operated in 2020. While many of those changes were not easy, they stimulated the development of new jobs and opportunities that have helped to propel the state of Kentucky into a new technological landscape,” said Spring. “Connected Nation, through its Digital Works Program, certainly played a role in this transformation by providing training and opportunities for individuals seeking remote work and customer service performance improvement classes for employers interested in up-skilling their existing workforce.”
Digital Works is helping to propel Kentuckians into a digital world that requires a tech-savvy workforce no matter where they live.
