Digital Works has teamed up with AT&T and Udacity to award scholarships for Nanodegrees to help Ohio adults develop high-demand technical skills.
AT&T and Udacity-funded Nanodegree scholarships are distributed through nonprofit organizations to students seeking careers in the tech industry. Nanodegrees are a new category of online education that connects people—no matter where they are—with affordable and effective training focused specifically on high-demand science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills.
Digital Works has a total of 20 scholarships to offer in 2015. Applications will be accepted through October 30, 2015. Each scholarship has an approximate value of $2,000 and enables students to complete one Nanodegree of their choice. To apply, please email hdavis@connectohio.org.
“Ohioans are anxious to develop the skills needed in the digital economy, and AT&T is thrilled to partner with Digital Works and Udacity on Nanodegree scholarships,” said Adam Grzybicki, AT&T Ohio President.
The Nanodegree program is part of AT&T Aspire, AT&T’s signature education initiative to prepare students for success in school and the modern workforce.
