Digital Works raises $20,000 for Red Nose Day

RedNoseDay

Anyone who has stepped foot in a Digital Works facility knows it is full of fun people who love to laugh; luckily there’s a charity for that!

Red Nose Day, held on May 21, 2015, is dedicated to raising money and awareness for children and youth living in poverty. The initiative promotes having fun and making people laugh while raising money for various charities supporting that cause. Funds raised during the event go to the Red Nose Day Fund (RNDF), which distributes grants to various charities assisting children and young people in the U.S., as well as some of the poorest communities in the world.

Various Digital Works locations participated in a telethon event, gathering and processing donations for Red Nose Day over the phone.

“We are proud of the hard work our participants and staff put into this event. We had a great time making each other laugh for a great cause,” said Stu Johnson, Vice President of Digital Works.

Digital Works shared several photos of the telethon on social media. Amber and Regina, agents from the West Union, Ohio facility, processed $6,000 in donations for the RNDF. John, Linda, Teresa, and several home agents in Carrollton, Ohio processed nearly $10,000. From the Digital Works Portsmouth, Ohio location, agents Eva, Lydia, Sandy, Carissa, Joel, Roberta, Rhonda, Sindy, Pearlie, and James processed donations through 2:00 a.m.! The total amount raised by Digital Works agents exceeded $20,000.

The teams are already looking forward to next year’s event. Congratulations to all of the facilitators, students, and graduates who participated!
