The Digital Works – Cheboygan Spring Fling luncheon this week brought local stakeholders together with past, present, and future Digital Works candidates, despite the rainy weather.
“We had a good mix of people at the luncheon,” shared Christi Cross, the facilitator for Digital Works – Cheboygan location. “It was a great opportunity for community supporters to talk with our participants about their training and job prospects. Current class members were able to get tips and feedback from those who had previously gone through the training and are already working with Digital Works employer partners.”
Christi also shared the menu: grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, homemade potato salad and baked beans, and lovely desserts brought by attendees, including strawberry shortcake!
“It was great to usher in the summer with an awesome group of people and supporters,” said Christi.
