What the program has to offer

CareerStep offers cutting-edge, self-paced coursework to develop industry-ready skills for career progression in some of the nation’s most desirable career fields. Some of the online training programs available through this partnership include: Behavioral and Psychiatric Health Technician, Computer Technician, Health Care IT Professional, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and much more.

“As a partnership organization, we are honored to provide additional education services for learners,” said Regan Jagatnarain, Chief Operations Officer for GS2. “It is our desire to see military families and those in need of employment learn and grow to improve their lives and family financial landscapes. If you have ever thought about going deeper in your education journey, but didn’t think years of college was right for you, this CareerStep opportunity could be a true gem for your personal and professional progression.”

A key advantage of CareerStep’s online training programs is they help participants earn nationally accredited certifications. In a world that is re-evaluating how it looks at education, professional certifications are proving to be a quick and effective way to showcase talent to employers and fast-track progress in participants’ desired fields.

Digital Works and GS2 have also created a skills assessment for those who are unsure if they are ready to pursue this advanced training program. This assessment will let participants know whether they should sign up for CareerStep or enroll in a preparatory, two-week Digital Works online training course first. Those interested can take the quick questionnaire.

“Many of our participants requested advanced opportunities, and we are happy to announce that those options are now available,” said Tammy Spring, Digital Works Operations Manager. “Our partnership with GS2 and CareerStep opened the door for Digital Works graduates to walk through, and we couldn’t be more excited.”

To learn more about the program join Digital Works, GS2, and CareerStep on February 17th, at 12:00pm (ET) for their LIVE Virtual Launch Event!
