GALLIPOLIS – Monday, April 14, at 1:00 p.m., Connect Ohio will hold an official unveiling event of its Digital Works Gallipolis location in the Jobs and Family Services (JFS) center at 848 Third Avenue (in conference room #2). Digital Works Gallipolis is part of Connect Ohio’s newest digital skills training program aimed at providing a link between twenty-first century workforce opportunities and community revitalization. The program has already placed 15 local residents into jobs with many more excepted in the coming months. The grand opening event will include remarks from dignitaries and program partners, as well as a tour of the center. Graduates who are already working will be on site for media interviews.
