The second quarter of work with the Ohio Development Services Agency continues to
demonstrate visible, positive results in delivering non-redundant, employer designed, and
outcome based high-demand job creation. Yet there remains a tremendous opportunity to
expand the Digital Works program. As further detailed in this report, this quarter Digital
Works:
- Boasted a 93% graduation rate, creating 73 new in-demand jobs in Ohio communities.
- Prepared to open two Digital Works centers in Columbus – one at the Reeb Avenue Center as part of the Southside Project with the City of Columbus; one at 6600 Busch Boulevard.
- Grew awareness among employers – Digital Works has been recently contacted by major employers asking for assistance to fill hundreds of positions.
- Received prestigious recognition as an integral partner in helping the City of Columbus be named 2015 Intelligent Community of the Year by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF).
