With the unemployment rate high in Monroe County, and that problem compounded by Ormet’s closure, every new job that can be created is precious. The Digital Works training and employment program, opening at the Black Walnut Center in Woodsfield, is designed to create 10 new jobs each month. Not only set to create jobs, but they are, according to officials involved, “sustainable 21st century jobs.”
